From Min and Binky and others...
Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I'll give you between one and three sentences from that story.
No holds barred. O-fic or any fandom you know I write in. Knock yourselves out.
ETA:
A Tolkien Mary Sue/Self-insert for Tehta
Haldir in Alqualonde, with a glass of wine and an amused partner for Min
Thranduil considers Thorin Oakenshield for Spiced Wine

Behind the cell bars, he dwarf's eyes met and held his balefully and with beleaguered pride. There had been less steel in Thorin Oakenshield's beard when Thranduil had first seen him, stalwart and proud at his grandfather's shoulder, perhaps even then knowing something of Thrain's incipient madness. Thranduil was no stranger to rash fathers, nor to the compelling lust for gold.
His torch flickered and flashed against the stones of the cavern walls, and he thought once more of Erebor, and his visit there long ago, when some tenuous regard still stretched between their houses. They were more alike-- he, an Elven king, and his scruffy Dwarven prisoner-- than he wished to admit.

Oh gosh, nothing registers on mine either (I know Thorinduil is popular, but I can't see it, and didn't think of it); I should really have specified that it was Thranduil/any-one, as long as it was slash.
Nevertheless, this was great, and I can see that they are both not so unalike! Thank-you, Kenaz.
