I know I have put this on FF.com, but it bears repeating :)
This must be some of the most epic, mythic fanfic I have ever read.
The fact that it feels so ancient and so grand puts it firmly in with the Silmarillion, but along with the ' stern, sweeping myth ' of Tolkien's work this concentrates on one character and thus makes it far more personal. The awakening of * being * of knowledge and thought and feeling the world around him is marvelous. And the weaving of Menelmacar as Túrin, into Beleg's ultimate fate, written with such brooding, foreboding beauty, has to be some of the most dramatic, gorgeous prose I have yet read. I loved your Beleg in Heart of the Wood, and hope to see him again, since you can certainly do such a character justice.
