This is absolutely wonderful. Your writing style is a delight and it is so good to see OCs written so thoughtfully and realistically, however disposable!

btw- - just a couple of points which threw me out a bit: what is Cardiff PD? as in Cardiff PD's supposedly secure server? and no-one ever makes only one mince pie. A dozen, at least, surely?
