Wow! My very first fan translations!

West of the Moon, East of the Sun has been translated into Chinese, and Until the Stars are All Alight has been translated into Chinese and Russian!


ETA: Where the Shadows Are has also been translated into Chinese!

Thanks so much to fatum_sts, and to my Russian translators who must remain nameless, as these works are part of a larger translation contest that is still ongoing.

It's moving....slowwwwly. I have put the prologue absolutely through the wringer and am really happy with it, but I'm wondering if I should hold off until I've gotten a little further along so I don't have to go back and retroactively change anything.

I'm also attempting to work more systematically-- I've got a ridiculous spreadsheet which outlines every single scene. Tedious as hell, but it also breaks it out into more digestible bits. I don't have to write a whole *chapter,* just a single scene. But that also means I'm writing some scenes out of order as the whim strikes me, and they're rather useless out of context. All of this is a giant new learning curve for me, but hopefully one that will pay off.

Eventually.

Writing is hard, dammit! I'm glad I was so ignorant of this fact when I started out or I never would have put pen to paper, so to speak. :P
